I changed ALL of my passwords for logins on every site i use... with a new system that i am trying just to keep the passwords unique for each site.

i know people who use the simplest of passwords and the same for every login...

ENTER isnt great either. that was one of my step fathers... his thinking was it was too easy and no one would think of it... lol

I'm an IT guy and have been using strong passwords for quite a while.
 
On a more serious note...

Here's a good article discussing passwords and how they don't need to be so crazy long with crazy passwords to remember. Just using a simple 3-4 word password phrase is typically as or in many case much more secure and many times easier to remember.

I also can't stress enough the fact people really need to use different passwords for each site. That way when a site you use gets hacked all your other online accounts aren't affected.

well if the hacker does get get into my computer. i do not have any bank, or other important, not even my real name, in my computer. it would very boring. course i think running linux helps all so.
