Locked engine

hey, i have a savage 21 nitro, i was running it the other day it ran perfectly fine, then i put it away before i did that i put some after run oil in the carb and engine, today i go and try it, i can't pull on the pull start, i took off the head and the piston won't budge at all, i dunno what happend, any suggestions??

Take the engine out and pull off the back plate and take a look inside. Sounds odd that even with the head off that it won't turn over. Unless you filled the crank case completely with oil and the piston can't go down...

Could be the c-clip on the wrist pin came out and the end of your wrist pin is stuck in a port.

Regardless, I think you need to take it apart and look inside before you make whatever it is worse.

how hard is it to do that?? first time doing that, is it hard to line the engine back up with the transmission?

No, not really. Since you have the head off, you can just take the engine off the mount, vs the engine/mount out of the truck, then it won't change your mesh when you put it back on.
