Is there a kit or some way to lock my differentials that way when I get hung up on the tubing that surrounds our track I'm not sittin there spinning only the 2 tires that are in the air

Spools/lockers are available for a lot of trucks. There are also several home methods for locking a diff too. A spool is best so if you want to switch back it's no problem and I've heard of hot glueing so you can melt it off if want to switch back or you can add a really heavy diff fluid. I have filled'em with epoxy too.

Personally, rather than locking the diffs with a spool or any other method, Id just use a much much heavier fluid in the diff. It wont spin the wheels as much when one starts to loose traction and it wouldnt be as hard on the drivetrain as a diff locker would be.

both of those are good options. personally I'm a bigger fan of the spool. cheap and easy way is get yourself some JB Weld if you want to lock it for good. maybe see if you can find yourself another set of diffs and leave one set open and lock up the other set.

what truck are you going to put this in? a spool is going to kill your handling if your racing. not tuo mention be a lot harder on your driveline. its best to experiment with different weights of fluid and find one that still gives you good handling but more of a "posi" diff action. that way it will still give if needed and not snap a shaft or worse.

I am against locking the diff unless it is in a crawler. If you need more posi action go with some 50k or better diff oil and you will be GTG there and you will still get the diff action for handling. As Beason said above for racing, locked is crap. I also have pictures of a shelled out T-Maxx tranny from a "locked" rear diff.

i dont know about it killing handling for racing, it all depends on your driving style and such. personally i love driving with a spool, but certainly not for everyone.

and as far as the abuse on the driveline - very true spools love to break things.
