I have the Purple TVPs and Roll bar that looks like I am going to keep as spares. Can't I just use oven spray cleaner to remove it.

Sure you can. I just prefer sandblasting because it allows me to really keep an eye on the process and not pit the aluminum. Also helps pass the time at work.
