Living in Las Vegas

I have some general questions about Las Vegas and would like to hear your thoughts.

I was just there on Saturday. I like it and have thought about living there. The waether is just like Phoenix, but even less rain. They are going to have water problems if it doesn't snow hard this winter in CO.

Just wanted to yak at folks that live there.

I'm headed out there this Fri. to take a look. I have been to LV 20-30 times but never wondered to far from the strip.

My sister in-law lives in vegas, about 45 mins north of vegas on 95 (durango road area). I have been there to visit with my wife twice and even thought about living there. We were there for a week both times, even started looking at the different housing developments and houses they were showing.

After a few days of hitting the strip, clubs and seeing everything from the top of Mt Charleston to the depths of Red Rock Canyon (even drove to the grand canyon and back in the same day), I realized that it wasn't a place for me after 2 seperate trips (first was in June, second was in January).

Good place to visit but I for one will never move there or have any inclination to live in that area.

Vegas is awsome to visit for sure! Not sure if I would want to live there, but like most everybody here, I have only been there to vacation.
