I'm a newb when it comes to the LiPo and have a question.
when is the balancing process done? i recently purchased the LOSI B9606 charger and want to make the switch to LiPo in the near future.

Balancing can be done during a charge or as a stand alone. This will depend on the balancer you are using and what charger you are using. Some chargers will not let you charge without being plugged into a balancer that can be plugged into the charger..
 
my charger balances and charges at the same time, so i can balance every time. you dont have to, but when the charger makes it that easy, why not!
