Would be better if they offered em in Nitros too. For the nitro folks ;)

Meh. BL2s. Same speed as the ole titan. But just maintenance free (well, maybe? Its traxxas electronics so who knows) and probably more low end torque than the brushed motor.

Would be great if running in a novice or onroad spec class. I know a bunch who race TT02s in a spec class. But I just cannot understand how they could race them if their cars are uncontrollable. 4tecs have way better steering and suspension than them junk TTs.

I mean, they make good shelf/display cars, don't get me wrong, since that's what I'm doing to mine. But driving them imho, they ain't that good. Maybe its just because I'm a pretty good club racer I want my stuff in top preforming shape. Idk.
(Not hating on them, but it is what it is. 🤷‍♂️ )

TT's can be good/ok in some cases. I seen lots of videos and pictures of people bashing / racing the crap out of theirs, and even speed running, but they have way too much money into them to make them drive well and hold up.

I might have to go get one. Put it to the test.

The 3.0 C8 Corvette in BL-2s form this what i would want if Traxxas would get off their butts and make it already. Oh well maybe someday.

Joe Jimbobs guide to making your TT02 (or any Tamiya on-roader) a solid speed run demon!

Step 1: Buy kit

Step 2: Spend another $400

Step 3: Regret that you didn't just buy a 4Tec or something nicer from the start.
