I ended up with this one this week. I see why you guys like it. Awesome little rig.
My local store has losi, proline and jconcepts tires. Which ones would you guys recommend? I intend to use it on dirt.
What upgrades would you guys recommend?

Having a Mini B myself I personally use Proline Prism/Wedge for my basement shaggy carpet and for the local carpet tracks. (Might check out Jcon fuzz bites soon).

I also race on indoor "sealed" dirt/clay and I run jcon ellipses rear (worn down to slicks) and stock bk bar fronts (worn down to slicks) with tire sauce and they hook up really nice. (Might try the new smoothie slicks soon)

Other than that idk what else is good for Losi Minis just bashing wise, I would say either stock tires, or Jcon Scorpios rear and stock fronts. Or something similar of tread.

There's a local mini backyard track bout 2 hrs away from me (I know, not that local lol) and from the previous seasons people like to use PL Hole Shot rear and Jcon Hawk rib tires front. (I haven't been there, yet)

I got some lists of upgrades I have I'll fetch my build thread for ya in a sec

Hmm don't recognize that rear skid plate thing. You got this used? If so maybe previous owner added that as those didn't come with them out of the box. Maybe it's apart of the rpm bumper I wonder? šŸ¤”

Here ya go

šŸ¤” is there any difference if I get the losi or hr bellcrank? My local rc store had the losi so I got that one but I notice everybody gets the hr.
Also there is absolutely no instructional vids on how to assemble it.

Ok, so after a bunch of little upgrades I decided to go brushless. I got the spektrum firma 5200 kv, honestly because that’s why the guy at the rc stuff handed me and said it was for the mini b. I installed it and everything, clearly it is larger so the stock body is a bit tight or…do you guys think I did something wrong?

I think it's supposed to be meant for the Mini LMT but not sure.
The "proper one" if you want to stay with spektrum/horizon ecosystem would be the 6000kv 2in1
But what you got now since its a bit of a lower kv, well by 800kv lol, and also longer can it will be a monster motor. torquey. But not sure if you can fit the body over that, and/or cut out the body so it can fit around it. Plus running that motor if you do it would probably run cooler than the 6000kv for the mini b/t/jrx

Thanks for the info, I went back to exchange the 5200 for the 6000 kv. Way smalller šŸ‘
