This really pisses me off, the closest hobby shop to me is an hour away, and the guy there only races electrics. The wierd thing is he has a nitro onroad track right outside the back door he could get alot more business if he just raced nitro. Does anyone else have this problem? I need to figure out how to make the owner open his track. Any Suggestions?

NitroPyroWelcome to RCNT

Talk to the LHS owner and explain what you are interested in. Ask why he doesn't run nitro. See if he would be willing to get nitro up and running, offer to help. If that doesn't work, I would gather some folks who are interested in racing nitro together and go talk to the shop owner. If there is enough interest, he should open some nitro racing, unless he is not interested in the money.

How do you gather folks who are interested in nitro? Use the internet, post flyers around the shop, if the owner will let you. Hang out at the electric races and talk to the guys to see if they run nitro too. You will have to do the leg work, but it should pay off for you.

Good luck

Thanks, that a good idea. I know a few people that might be interested and I have never heard of a person that doesn't want money!
