Was a pretty low turnout but that didn’t matter. 2wd Buggy and E Buggy were the big classes as usual. Over all it was a war of attrition 
seemed like every race had at least one person break or lose a wheel or something of that nature. The track was pretty beat up on arrival. Lots of stones had worked their way up from all the rain they got earlier in the week. Joey and co. did a nice job cleaning it up but we got a pretty late start. It was super dusty at first but an extra heavy watering fixed that.
I only brought the wheeler and the mini truggy. The wheeler drove great. Some of the best driving I’ve ever done with it. Only messed up the rhythm section a few times throughout the night. There was only 3 of us and one had mechanical problems in both the qualifiers and didn’t make the main. The other guy was way faster than me but I was able to stay on the lead lap for almost the whole race until I caught the pipe and popped a ball cup.
Mini Truggy was one for the books again only 3 of us and also one didn’t make the main from mechanical issues. I started in 2nd and was able to get around first on the first lap. We were back and forth for the first 2/3 of the race then he broke a c hub and lost a front wheel. Just as that happened to him I broke a rear hub and lost a rear wheel. We both kept racing till the end everyone was cheering us on. It was great! I ended up taking the win in the end. Ordered parts today to fix it since the shop was closed by the time I broke.
Got back to the house around 11 pm.
