I like to know if this car is a touring car because the body post layout don't senn to accomodate a 200mm roar legal body.I'm thinking on buying one but I need to know this before I commit to a car that I wont be able to compete with.:redbuggy:

LUIS - yes it is a 200mm touring car. it is the exact same car as the Trinity reflex.

The mounts are like that for a wedge body. It gives you both in the kit.
I have this car and it is pretty stable. A little top heavy, so shave some material off the bottom of the motor mounts to lower the engine down a little. Make sure that you shave them even so the mounts can rest flat on the chassis. Really critical to handling if you don't.

The new HPI R40 looks like another clone of the V one R. I guess if something works good, everyone will copy it :jet:

Compared to HPI's previous Nitro TC's I think it is laid out alot like a v1r or maybe more like the trinity RFX:cheers:

the reflex and v1rr are the same. all 3 belt cars are gonna looks similar - thats just the way it is.

I can agree with that. I was just going from what I have seen in pictures. I have owned a Reflex and it was a great car. The HPI car when I first seen it really reminded me of the RFX.
