Fuel in the tank because I wanted to start it but didn't have battery charger for the servo. Never ran. Everything in the picture you get. Car is about $420, JConcepts were like 80 something, the other dish wheels 60, the fuel, bottle, servo upgrade etc

thought you knew RTR means Refuses To Run?
i doubt he'd ship it with fuel in the tank, it may leak. that's just common sense.
That is not why…. It’s because nitro fuel is EXTREMELY hydroscopic… Rule number one in nitro RC ANYTHING, is to NEVER leave fuel in your tank, as it WILL absolutely destroy your engine, and it will do it QUICKLY. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Cmon ‘tooligan, I know you know this…😅

knowing and not caring are 2 different things :hehe: i always run my stuff out of fuel, put the engine at BDC and let it sit for months/years.
I'm guessing he put fuel in the tank for the pic, I'm doubting the fuel line ever even saw the fuel let alone the engine. it's fine.

Doesn’t need to be in the motor, all it’s gotta do is be in the tank. Nitro 101.. -this has gotten outta control anyway, was just trying to give dude a chance to fix it, and delete that photo before a prospective buyer saw it-not turn his F/S post into a discussion thread. 🍻

15 minutes of vapor for a photo shoot isn't going to hurt it. i doubt the person who buys it would notice or care. this is a basher buggy (and from what iv heard a really good one) you don't have to maintain it like a pro racer to keep it functional for a long period of time (trust me, I'm a master at neglecting nitro's. the things iv done with my nitro's would give your nightmares nightmares)

...i wonder what shipping from Pluto would cost?... :hehe:

I'm with the MAN Littlemotor on this.
I know nobody ask my opinion but- your gonna get it.

As a buy/seller if rc's on the resale side if things- I'm not interested for a second in taking a chance that this is actually never ran... there is fuel in the tank for a reason and it aint for a picture.
Wether it was ran or he attempt to run it and failed- it's seen fuel and is just left with it in the tank and motor.

Been running nitro for 30+ years now.
It is not a sign of somebody who knows.

Instead of selling rc's for high dollar to feed your kids, maybe get a job.?.
I'm a father of 4 and it hits me the wrong way to see you say your kids are relying on the sale of this buggy for food.
If thats true you've got some life things to figure out.

I call it as i see it.
If you don't wanna be my friend, that's okay. I already have enough of those.

I never said that man, I was just a bit taken aback by the “get a job comment”. That’s uncalled for. Let him and the buyer haggle over fuel in the tank, @Littlemotor already suggested he remove fuel from the tank and oil it so it doesn’t rust or seize. Maybe he has a job, maybe he bought this thing and needs some extra money, we all make mistakes. We try to be helpful on these forums so please, be helpful and respectful.

Was i disrespectful?
Suggesting to get a job to feed a family is disrespectful how, maybe I ask?

Are we so sensitive now days that a statement such as that hurts feelings?

It's simple.

Men are providers. That's what we do. If there is no job- get one. If 1 isn't enough, get two. Two not enough? You guessed it.. Get 3. Make it happen.

I'm not judging. I'm advising.

To make a statement in a sale ad suggesting that he needs money from this sale to feed a family is crazy in my eyes. Looking for sympathy? Hoping it helps the sale? I dont know....

Either way. Good luck with the sale. Hope you get what you need.
I have a Kyosho neo myself in the collection somewhere. A lot of people dont realize that it is actually a Kyosho mp7 from the early 2000's in disguise.
Those Kyosho motors are also amazing. They tune super easy, and hold it well. For a rtr motor, it's great.

Adding 2 spider gears each to the diffs (neo only has 2 stock for cost savings i guess). And a steel spur along with good fluids and they are a mighty fine budget buggy with 20+ years of supported aftermarket parts out there (mp7 parts fit directly).

I'm out-
It’s a bit disrespectful because you don’t know his situation.
Sure he didn’t have to add he needs to feed his family but you didn’t need to tell the guy to get a job, or 2 or 3. It was simply an unnecessary comment.
I have nothing against anyone here, but when I see a rude remark I might be inclined to say something.
