Kyosho GS21 Pullstart

The Pullstart on my GS21 is on its way out. It's a Kyosho MP6 Sport (still in original spec as well which seems a bit of a rarity) I bought a replacement but it appears that the one I bought is for the KS21 which doesn't fit. Are the GS21 pull starts still available or are they Rocking Horse Poo?
I did consider seeing if it's possible to convert to either a Box start or Rotostart. But I have no idea where to start there.
Would I be better just replacing the original engine?

Worst case scenario you should be able to use a bumpbox. Your flywheel should just poke out the bottom of the chassis. If it does then you can always go bump box

Thanks Buddy Should I remove the internals from the pullstart and just leave the cover in place?

Just leave it in place. You just need to make sure the box spins the flywheel in the correct direction or you will break the pull start string/handle right off.
