Anyone else ever heard of the KKPIT brand of RCs before?

I
No USA dealer/distribution ☹️... yet 🧐.

Yes, as they say, lost in translation. Looking on Word Hippo, and other synonym sites, "straight" is what I hope was meant... 3.5mm thick "straight" chassis.

You, bill_delong, seen the same thing that I did... an offspring from two great Losi, and Tekno platforms. Something like a Tekosi, because LoTek would not be a good conglomeration of names to use 🤣 🤡.

I did ask Karter James (assuming he works with company or action modelsme) about USA distributor, and he said looking/willing to find a dealer as they are promoting KKPIT now. I just need to know parts support could be found in USA before I'd click the checkout button. Price seems spot on for enticing me into the unknown. I'd be so onboard the KKPIT train if someone like Team Associated, or Team Redcat Racing would rebrand the platform.

A person can always change up the looks of their RC, 'cause I am sure some may find the bodies a bit wonky(?). I love the Hummer-ish boxy looking one (purple one below). I'd totally use that body. Heck, I may try to find just that body to put on one of my current SCTs.

That Tundra body 😍
I like the Jconcepts HiFlow Silverado 1500 body. I like the boxy-ness of it. ProLine also made the same body of the silverado 1500 (which I have both the Jcon and PL bodies), the PL is a bit more round.
LoTek, doesn't sound good overall. I like Tekosi more.
LoTek, copyright of Prolines FloTek body?

RedCat would be a possibility, but they're currently rebranding HongNor

Next best chance might be Dialed Hobbies who used to distribute InTech:

Not sure many other USA distributors are willing to take the risk, possibly Integy or NitroRCX?

Too many unknowns about KKPIT, I tried to load their webpage and my corporate firewall is blocking them so that's a huge red flag for me.

I would just assume to wait for TEKNO to release their SCT410 2.1 which would be a far safer bet.
