kinda funny story...

so i go out crawling tonight after being sad of my comp results and i got way out into the desert where its nothing but sage brush and lava rocks and of course RATTLE SNAKES!!!, any ways as I'm being careful to not see any snakes my rig falls down it between two big rocks and it goes far enuff down that i really have to reach and i can't see very good as what all is down there. Right when i get my hand to touch a tire the stupid thing jolts and scares the living sh!t outta me lol, i know i screamed like a little girl. but false alarm thank God lol.

any ways if u all are wondering, i took 5th outta 15 so it wasn't too bad i guess, pretty good course that worked well with my setup, this HH 35t motor has great power and helped me out many times. I had no break downs except that my front drive spun in a few bad spots on the first run wich didnt help.

Yeah, I get pretty spookey somethimes, too. I'd be using a stick. We don't have rattlers around here, but we do have, uh, puppies with pointy teeth.

Congratulations man. I know the caliber of the guys that you were crawling with, and 5th is dam good.

I think it's also important to note that out of all of the local guys that Lloyd crawls with most of the time, the best any of them got was 10 and Lloyd pulled off with only being 1 point short of 4th. I'm quite impressed.

dont make me blush : just kidding and thanks Charlie, i decided to look at it as i could have done WAY worse lol. but speaking of the snake story lol, a kid at the comp broke a driveline and held it right up to his face to look at it and it jolted and i think it hit his lip lol but he dropped it, pretty funny stuff.

LMAO, That's funny Ralph. I think I lost points in the last competition because I couldn't see the markers good because I wouldn't step in big holes that looked like a comfy place for snakes. I hate snakes, and I sure as hell wouldn't be crawling somewhere after I saw the first rattlesnake, or if I THOUGHT there MIGHT be a snake lol. I hate em like I would hate it if someone tried to pee on my mom.

As for the jolting, it's got to be that dang AM radio. With my FASST and Spektrum radios, I've never had my truck do that, and I'm running basically the same ESC and BEC that you're running.

lol I'm glad no one saw me, i felt like a p***y, but i would rather look and sound like an ass then to get bit by a rattler lol.
hey charlie, the radio that came with my mad truck says fm on it, would it be better for now??? the only thing i dont like about it is that it has a digital screen that just eats up the batteries.

You need to be running rechargeable batteries. I think that would definitely be worth a try, probably reduce the glitching a lot. You don't notice when nitros and bashers glitch a tiny bit like that, but when it's a crawler and you're hanging off the side of a cliff above the water, it could mean the difference in life or death for your rig lol.

yeah i only have 4 rechargables in right now lol, i dont know why i havent bought more but they are expensive, but so is buying batteries every month lol.

Order them from Team Fast Eddy. I went it halves with another member and we bough 64 batteries, and I didn't pay hardly anything for my 32, and now I always have plenty of fresh batteries on hand.
