Don't you hate it when all of your rc's are down, and not running. I have 3 trucks, all of them are not running right now. I have my merv, which has a few gears stripped in both diffs, my slash 4x4 blew the yoke out out of the rear driveshaft. So i checked it all out, and it turns out the piece that connects to the output shaft on the diff broke, so my new driveshaft will not hook up to it until I get a new one of them. And my E-Revo Project still needs a motor, esc, and a few screws here and there. I really hate being a teenager,14, and having to wait until my mom or dad are able to take me to the lhs. Gosh, these next two years need to speed up so I can finally drive myself to anywhere I want.

Then you get a car and throw these in a closet and in 20 years you dig them out and wonder why you ever stopped running them... then your wife is nagging at you about the "honey do" list and you pitch them back in the closet... then you retire your job, kids move out, wife lays off and your 70 years old looking around for your spare cane and trip over one of these ancient toys, fall down, break your hip and all is lost...

Being a teen in this hobby can't be easy. My only problems now are looks people give me (34 years old) as I'm at the skate park at 8:30am before kids show up to run my toys. This weekend, I got all ready to go last night, expecting rain this morning and clear weather tomorrow only to look at the forecast and see rain through till monday morning... There's always next weekend.

Yeah know what you mean I sold my T-Maxx last week because I got this Savage and found it to be a better truck for me. Now its down waitin on a new tranny case because the screws for the disk brakes is stripped out. I guess i could still run it but the idea of no brakes just seems a little dangerous. So now i'm waiting on the new parts to arrive. Meanwhile my neighbor is havin a blast with my old T-MAXX!

Olds your right about getting funny looks. I'm 31 and I get funny looks all the time I don't care. And all of my rigs are down. I need suspension parts for my revo and a new charger for the mini slash. This hobby is hard as a teen that's shrubs I got out for awhile. Good luck but you will get up and going soon. What brushless set up are you wanting to run I'm the revo?

I have 5 rigs, all in excellent working order :p:......Ya think I have time to run them? NOT.....That's bummed! NitroRC4Llife, you got it made man. Being 35, working 12 hours, 7 days a week (from july to december) and getting married in 3 weeks is way more stressful than being 14 ever was. I only work 40 hour weeks from december to april, the rest are at least 48 hour weeks. Maybe that's why my rigs don't get used up. After all that I still burn about 5-7 gallons a year.
