Good idea and you have been lucky. The header being reversed tends to make an uphill climb for any fluid in the exhaust. After a while this can lead to a hydrolocked engine and other problems.

If you choose to go this route, make certain that you let the fuel out of the exhaust after the day of running. Why? It will tend to want to run back into the engine and bring all the crap with it.

i am an idiot too....i havent looked at any of my rc cars in so long i forgot that i didnt use the tmaxx header. I took the one off my nitro rustler and put it on backwards...actually used the whole exhaust

actually i dont know what the heck i used..i just looked at my rustler and it has a specal header as well. i did buy a nitro sport rustler one time and took it apart. anyway its the header that as like one small piece and angles 90* left or right depending how you put it on
