Keep Losing Engine screws

Well i finally took mine out for the first time on friday night and it was working for a great 20 minutes when it would rev and not move so i shut it down and found out the 4 screws in the bottom were gone!

So i went out and bought the blue locktight (recommended by hobby shop) and i put them back in with a lot of lock tight this morning and right before sun down i took out the RC and it didnt even run long enough to let it warm up so i could really romp on it before the screws were GONE AGAIN!!!!

Anyone know any secrets?

Use a dab, (and I mean a dab of red locktite).
Give it a chance to dry. You might want to try the blue again, but you need to let it dry. At least over night.

How long did you let the locktite cure for? Try giving it the recommended 24 hours it's worth a shot. And more loctite does not = better.

Also if your gonna use the same motor mount and not try a new one like redneck suggested, make sure there isn't any oil, spilt fuel, or anything else on the threads.

You might need a new motor mount. The hole might be a little wankeled out just a hair and the vibration is just causing them to fall out. I have seen it happen on 1:1 vechicles a few times so that is what makes me thing of that.

make sure you clean the screw and hole. Locktight only works on metal. and if the screws are dirty the locktight will not work as well.

I would definately check what redneckracer mentioned. It is very possible the holes have wallowed out a bit when the first screws loosened up. Also make sure you replaced them with the correct size screw.

Not much to add...if anything

A.Clean the screws,are the holes clean?
B.Use a dab of the blue one you have,screw in firm.(the dab should be at the end of the screw,when it goes in it will spread over the grooves)
C.Let cure for 24hours

Screws must be tight,use measure as any screw can be damaged by overtightening.Common sense must be applied

Try it again,holds up? Then move to the red one.
