I'm on my third one this summer. Anything aftermarket thats stronger?

What are you doing to break them? Failed backflips?

I would stay with a stock one if you don't want to buy a new engine ;)

Just driving it hard!! Lol nothing in particular

Stick with the stock one. Treat it good and it'll last a long time. It helps if you run a roll cage or bar too to stop the damage to the engine and mount.

You must be driving on pavement? On pavement I have broken a couple engine mounts. I have only had one breakage from a botched jump on grass/dirt. My Axial .28 block broke without hurting the engine mount on grass.

Actually i always running on grass. Both broke in the same place. I was gona get it welded but its crappy metal. And I'm also on my third gas tank. The bolt for the shock tower keeps bustin my tank. Think epoxy would hold up on the gas tank?

+1 on flipping the shock bolt around. Yeah, the stock mounts are cheasy cast al. I guess you might as well upgrade, and learn to stay rubber side down......j/k

The only downside with the nova one is that it uses nuts, which can be a pain to keep in place while your installing the engine.

Looks nice though.

I've only broken a couple engine mounts in all the time I've owned a savage. Never from a direct hit to the engine. All from weight transfer from big ass jumps and hard landings. Once was a dead stick straight into the ground from about 20 feet in the air... on concrete. Lost it off a dirt pile at a refinery and hit a slab of concrete like a lawn dart. The engine just came tumbling out of the top of the truck on impact. Busted the purple plate and cross members as well... sad day for the savage ;)

Yes about switching the bolt and nut around. After the second tank i actually looked at where the tank broke and realized what is was from.

FLM makes a nice one.
Another thing that helps reduce engine and mount damage is a full LCG chassis. The engine and tranny sit lower, therefore they are less prone to damage. I have always ran lcg chassis, so that may explain why I have not had many issues.

Justbought another tank and stock mototmount. Gave me sum time to clean it up alot. So we will see how long this tank and mount will last.

So i was out today bashing and broke another mount and 1 of those silver aluminum brace bar under the motor plate. I'm gona try JB weld them and see if they will work. Just picked me up sum JB and it worked for my cArb so I'm gona see if it will hold up a mount and brace.

Do not JB Weld it. It's best to buy a new one so that the motor plate is completely straight. I broke one of those bars and I left it broken, and I always wondered why I was stripping spurs even with setting the mesh. I bought a new bar and it was fixed. The problem I had was that one part of the bar would move up and down, causing the engine mount to fluctuate in different places, causing uneven mesh. JB welding will not guarantee that you fix the bar so that it is straight. Best safe than sorry.

If i buy a integy aftermarket motor plate, will i still need those brace bars underneath?

Yes you would still need the support bars...I have a FLM cassis and engine plate and it still has the supports. Go with the FLM engine mount. It is milled so it's going to be way stronger than a cast. Good stuff. You need to video some of your bash sessions becuase I have been beating my Savages for several years and have never broken a tank and only one engine mount.
