Did you get this yet?

NO!! And I'm getting nervous about it, thats a little more than I can stand to get screwed out of. I called him today and left a message, we'll see what happens.

Man, I really hope it works out. I hate to see members get screwed (or anybody for that matter)

Did he say how he is shipping it, or give you a tracking number or anything??

Hope for the best.

He is supposed to ship it Mon/Tues through ups. I didn't expect to have it yet but I thought he would give me a confirmation that he did ship it and a tracking # would be nice. I might be jumping the gun but I wish he would contact me.

see this is why i jusst dont use Ebay!
Most of the time you get conned out your money and there is nothing at all you can do about it! In the UK, it was on the news saying that there is no insurance for things like what this could be.

I just got a call from him! He said it was sent through USPS Priority and I should have it today or Monday. I feel a little better.

I know better than to make a deal like this but I couldn't resist.

ahh thats good then, your one of the lucky ones.
But ill give you some advice
Dont use Ebay regularly, if you see something you like, make sure its not a con and be prepared for anything!

It just showed up!! To bad I won't have time to mess with it until Tuesday.....Work sux when you have a new toy.

damn i have a savage k46 w/ 3 speed tranny. 40 series big joe tires on 23mm hex cheyenne rims, upgraded tie rods. full skid plates front/rear, bottom, and gas, ofna linkage upgrade for $300 shipped with misc. screws and pull starts.
needs radio gear and a new disc brake.

can throw in nova aluimnum shock towers for an extra $40. and a brand new set of 40 series bow ties on wabash 23mm hex rims for $60

I just finished going threw the box and here's the good...the bad..and the ugly!

The good: Everything is brand new, all electronics work perfect...The JR xr3i is awesome. There is also an extra servo...A nib Futaba S9350, a new hump pack, and a couple of glow plugs.

The bad: Missing parts. There is no clutch bell, clutch shoes/springs, and missing screws to complete it. Actually about 10 missing screws but I dug in the parts bin and had some.

The ugly: Almost every screw is loose.

Should have know when he didn't finish the build it would be put together like crap. I'm not too upset about that because now I get to tear it down and rebuild it.

new there would be a catch! No1 gives something that good away for that price, i just didnt want to lower your hopes.

Smaxxin, make a list of clutch parts you need and pm me your address. I will hook you up.

so new that the clutch is missing and all the screws are loose.

You do realise that the SS comes as a kit and not RTR right? If it was used he was an amazing driver, not one scratch on anything and he drove it partially assembled.....It could happen

You do realize that is a $100 servo right? lol I have it in my mbx-5 steering, AWESOME. I'd take it over a clutch anyday. CB's and clutch assy's arent expensive at all. Its not like he didn't give you a TVP or something. Id say it was a pretty good deal. And the screws, id take the truck apart for a winter project anyway, and locktite the machined screws. I do this so many times when I buy used, its not that hard. And you can clean it aswell. Id say you got a good deal actually. Good luck with it!
