I just got my hpi savage 25 rtr. I'm very new at this and the instructions arent as detailed as the Tmaxx I had. Are these tires supposed to be glued??

YES!! with the power and wheel speed the savage has you would loose um in like 2 minutes flat... i just used some superglue around the bead..

I would reccomend using tire glue not super glue. With the power that comes out of these engines the tires will strip off the rims in no time flat.

I thought the S-25 RTR tires come preglued at 4 points of adhesion on the rim.

For any rims you should check to make sure they are glued properly if they come glued. If not glued then on the inner lip where the tires sits on use some light sandpaper and scuff the lip. I use a dremmel and use a the brush attachment to scuff it up.

Then also take the time to clean the bead of the tire with alchohol to get any residue off from the releasing agent from the tire mold. Now is the best time to do it.

i used Instant cement or rubber cement. comes with a brush on applicator as well. you can get it at the hardware store for about $4. it's in the adhesive section
