just got one in a trade can i get the goo the bad and the ugly on these? it has loads of alumnum cvds and a losi mach .15

I am assuming HPI's MT2. The .15 has enough power to keep your attention for a while but I reccomend the 18. Keep an eye on the clutch, mine likes to be replaced often. (driving style I guess) Mine also likes to toss out its right front drive shaft in tight turns, shim it with a small o'ring. If you don't already have them, put turnbuckles inplace of the plastic tierods. Its a nice little truck for the track, enjoy.

yeah i have the mip cvds and it already has the turnbuckles ill get some pics this thing is nice

Isn't that an NitroMT? Not a MT2?

Does the spur have a slipper built in or is it just a weird looking spur? The MT2 has a slipper. If it is a MT2, you're missing the front bumper/skid... but it looks like the NitroMT to me.

If it is the NitroMT, the arms are really brittle and the spur gear is also. You can upgrade the spur assembly with the MT2 spur assembly. I never did it when I had mine, but I read about people who did.

I'm not sure what else can fit it from the MT2. I hated the lack of the front bumper.

i have a huge goddy aluminum bumper its just not installed i will look at the spur

yeah it has a slipper

Well, I'd get the stock parts to replace your bumper/skid. With that and the slipper, you will have solved two of my major issues with the NMT. The other issue was chassis flex, and a lot of it. I don't know if the MT2 had the same flexy chassis as it's predecessor.

i dont know i have two chassis and two huge bins of parts this guy could have built three cars with all the spares

sorry for the misleading title guys it is the nitro mt racer kit with alotta mt2 parts any1 know how to convert the slipper??

Hi. The MT2 slipper clutch assembly will drop right into your NMT.
The slipper clutch tend to stick together after a while, but it never caused me any trouble. The other guy at the track, however, keeps blowing his diff. He replaced them with heavy duty diff gears, and still stripped the gears. I can only guess that his slipper clutch stuck together, and the power of the HPI .18 engine went directly to the diffs.
