i love this truck. just picked up a red one from my lhs and it kicks a$$. it is totally worth $150. any one can handle a big truck,,,,, but are you manly enough to drive a mini  :jet:

I just checked one out at my LHS - very cool. They reccomend a 6 or 7.2V rechargeable pack.

If your LHS ordered at least 12, they should have received a demo truck for people to try out.

We got in the mini's today...12 of them, and we did get a demo truck! (even came with a little display stand). Those things are pretty sweet....smaller than I thought they'd be! Lots of gearbox noise.... I still want one!

we didnt get a demo either..............but i didnt care, we got a display model and about 11 cars so i got to work this morning i snatched one up and demoed it for customers all day, we sold 5 of them in one day (and that doesn't include the 5 employees that bought them) the are a hot seller. the perfect winter project, drive them around the house (chasing the cats) . :p:

I'm bummed because I called Ultimate Hobbies who I preordered through and they said they hadn't gotten theirs yet. That sucks. He said he had like 200 preorders so I have no clue when I'm going to get mine. It would be nice if I had a local shop to get mine. Perhaps I'll have to do some detective work tomorrow. I already have a Peak Octane 7.2v pack just waiting for it.

you can't fit a 6 cell 7.2 volt pack in one, you need to use some kind of micro rs4 battery, it just doesn't have enough room for a 7.2 volt 6 cell pack. :trout:

We ordered and the keep telling us next week every week. can't wait. can finally race in my back yard

Well I was thinking about maybe getting a mini-t, but i'm waiting for the drift yokomo cars. I saw a video of it and i'm hooked

metallicamaxx, no sweat. It's the Peak Racing micro pack originally designed for the Micro RS4. Should fit just fine, right?

sounds like it will fit after all, you will have more fun than is even imaginable :jester:

Please tell me how it handles going at full speed. It is hard to control. Is it fast stock?

If I'm not mistaken, the Micro RS4 Pack will fit just fine in the Mini-T.

This is stock running with 4AA's: I only ran it inside on carpet SO: It's quick, not fast, and it's got a lot of gearbox noise. From what I've heard it's quite a bit quicker with the battery pack, but it doesn't last nearly as long as the AA's (but really, who cares, it's faster and rechargeable!) It handles decent, the front suspension is a little bit bouncy. This truck could definately benefit from the upgraded oil-dampening shocks.
What the truck reminds me of is a stock T-Maxx: a decent truck stock, but with upgrades could be one heck of a contender.

For me personally, I think it'd be cool for the winter to have something you can fix up and mess around with in the house, but it's not like I'd trade my GT for it. It's neat. If you're into the Micro RS4's and the Mini-Z's then hell yeah it's cool as hell, but I'm not real big into the mini's. If you're into racing the mini's, then this would be ideal for you...there will be races and classes specifically for the Mini-T's.
I think it'd be fun to screw around with and make one of these little guys fast as hell.

Ed just picked me up a blue one, and he got a red one for himself. Add us to the list as we are now in the club. Should be a great winter for indoor off-road racing!!! Now all I got to do is some how convince the old lady that a truck load of loam dirt is a good thing for the living room.

Ok it's offcial, with the Micro RS4, The Losi MiniT, the new Duratraxx Street force Micro 1/18, I think we offically need a micro or 1/18 scale forum to be exact. I will put it to the suggestion forum and hopefully WoodiE will hold a vote if he sees fit.
