Hey all I just snagged my first Nitro R/C car. I have never really been in to them until I saw all of the upgrades available. I enjoy cars of all sorts and its fun to imagine how fast the vehicle would be at full scale. Anywho...I was interested in buying a cooling head and was wondering if there will be any clearance issues with the EZ Start unit? I have the TRX 2.5. Also I've read the handling sucks so spare me...but will it still be wretched if i upgrade? I've read a lot of good and bad things about the 4tec but for being a complete noob...I think it's a good buy especially since I'm still learning. Also what will i need to upgrade the wheels and tires? The hex nuts? what size are the wheels i should be buying? If anyone could link me it would be highly appreciated. Let me know what you think.

:fro:

Well i have an RS4 so can't help you with the cooling head. Handling would be improved with new tires and wheels which would solve two issuses. For parking lots I like to use Dynamite slicks http://h1072063.hobbyshopnow.com/products/description.asp?prod=DYN7953 (Couldn't find them on Tower)they are light on your wallet and last a while and have great traction. There premoutned so you dont have to worry about that either. Hope this helps

The best head you can put on that mill is the blue powertune head by traxxas. It'll cost you about $40 and will make that engine really wake up.

Standard road car tires should work fine. If you plan to run it on the street get rubber tires. If you can run it on a smoothly paved surface (like walmart or something) go with foam tires. Reason being that they don't balloon out like rubber ones do.
