While I'm waiting on the new 2.5R to arrive i did a trAnsplant from my tmaxx 3.3 to my revo! Holy crap on a stick!!!! What a difference in torque and speed. I think I'm gonna keep it in for a bit now. Me likey. :D

I like the 3.3 as well, I'm on my 2nd one. With Traxxas's trade up programs makes it a whole lot better for me.

That much difference eh? - May have to get my freebie 3.3 up & running to replace my 2.5.

Awesome nonstop doughnuts and very strong exits out and out of turns fantastic launch controll with power to spare off the jumps now and much quicker tuning to best performance and cooling after engine reaches running temps. I ran 3 tanks through it after the transplant today with just a few mins between tanks. I mean very aggressive driving too and so far all is good. No problems. I'm more in love with my revo now than i was when i got it

It's an awesome engine for me as a new be, not to mention the great Traxxas customer service has. that there alone, is a plus for me.

I'm probly gonna drop the new 2.5R into the Tmaxx and rebuild the one i pulled from the revo. That should be sufficient enough for me in the maxx. Who knows, i may be getting a deal on the jato 3.3 i want in the future and just have the best of both worlds at my control. A very nice choice of what to play with each day or what to work on when i dont feel like bashing on those certain days. I'm loving the RC scene very much!
