all i can say is OWWW!! first i get a tetanus shot and then they make me pee in a cup then i have to take a blood test and they need to fill up like 6 bottles 2 long ones (5-6 inches) and then 3 small ones (~3-4 inches) now i can move my right elbow and dont dare touch my left. see this is why i havent gone in 2 years. it just so happens its 10 years since my last tetanus shot. its supposed to be the worst but ill take it!. i hate the doctor and the worst thing being if i do have diabetes or high colesterol i have to retest.to top it all off just the whole blood thing made me soo dizzy. after she was done taking the blood i was even more dizzy and light headed.

Consider it a late birthday present!!! At least you're not over 40 yet. Those of you who are know what's in store. The chilling sound of the rubber glove snapping as the doctor slides it on. And then you notice the jar of Vaseline on the counter. And then the words most men like to hear from women but HATE to hear from their doctor....."lower your pants please".......

LMAO candyman.. my doctors a chick. no dude should ever see my majik wand or my sack lol.

Yep, the annual trip to Dr. Coldfinger... My family history is good, so I'm not going to need it until 50 I hope.

Wait til tomorow when that Tetnus shot really kicks in. Just got one recently after I had a mishap with my exacto knife and left a nice sized hold in my arm. Anyways, feel better dude.

ouch... i hate the doctors and i CAN'T STAND BLOOD... I almost threw up when i got my blood tested. I gaged like 3 times but nothing came out cuz i wasn't allowed to eat anything that day :bored: wow that sucked. feel better dude.

Dr Cold fingers is a necessity of life.
The only that makes me wonder is, why can I feel both of his hands while hes doing this procedure? One on each cheek.

ED,
thats sad, the biggest finger of them all, that is disgusting LOL. the funniest time wiht my fathers experiences was loas year when he turned 60 and they needed to do a colonoscopy LOL!!!! it was soo funny.

Unfortunately, doctor visits are a necessary eveil. I just chose not to go the female doctor. She's too cute and "dropping and coughing" well ... SHWING!

I didn't go to the doctor for about 5 years, but I'm glad I went, now. Found out I was a borderline diabetic and cholesterol was way high. Now everything is under control and I can at least take steps to change diet and lifestyle.

Hey, are doctors supposed to use gloves? Why does mine go bare handed? If I go to the woman doctor, I wouldn't mind so much ... hahahaha

diver,
i noticed that when my doctor was doing the behind the curtain inspection on the wand she didnt use gloves.my doctor before this one had a phat @$$ and a nice rack OMG those were the best 2 physicals i ever had lol. and the thing is she always wore
"hooker" boots.

is there any guy past 30 wiht a female doctor?

LOL you're lucky.. I went to the doc for a cough. They sent me for an X-ray. Had to go back to the doc today got Pnuemonia from moving my parents from their huge dusty old house. Seems the dust settled all right.. right in my lungs.

So I get to the doc today and they take my oxygen saturation (little finger deal) seems it's at 91% (isn't that an A?) Anywas nurse freaks, they put me on oxygen.. off for another X-ray..

Soooo now I get to hook up a steam machine to my face every fours hours(makes me shake and get jittery) and most likely get a nice little visit to the hospital for a day or two by tommorrow...As always no good deed goes un-punished..

BTW a word to the wise.. dust is nothing to sneeze at, too much for too long and you could get Pee-New-moan-yah as my kids call it heh..

Hrmm get the finger or pneumonia..please pass the vasoline LMAO

BTW now I get a little more time to read up on the boards.. not all bad anywas lol

Lykan,
if I'm correct the machine you speak of is a nebulizer. they are expensive. you pour a certain type of medecine into the cup and breathe in like a bong. i remember a few years back when i had to do that, i had Xopenex it tasted like chocolate. They stuck what where???

Buncrana,
do you have 1199 health coverage? she's an expensive one LOL.

ROFLMFAO

Lykan, make sure you take good care of that and keep checking in with the doctors. An onld friend of mind had died from it because he ignored it. Myself, I thought I was good enough to not go back to the docs after I was done with the drugs...wrong. Got pleurisy a month later which felt like a knife in the chest everytime I tried to breath.

Fridge, sounds like the right machine, I had to use it to for the pleurisy. As for coverage, I got great coverage, hook me up, I can't stand my doctor. :naughty:

Yup a nebulizer pain in the butt but I get energey back after I use it...
this pneumonia bites ass..back to the doc friday and top the hospital if I get any worse uhhg

I think I'm going to steal the kids game boy advance for a while heheh..
