hey guys i just bought a micro-dt from a guy on another forum for $70..do you think i got a good deal..it also comes with a losi 2s 300mah lipo..and it's in pretty go condition...i'll get some pics when it gets here..i just bought it 20 minutes ago lmao...also is there any upgrades that you would recomend for it??

this is like a birthday present for me lol..my birthday is next saturday

You can find them new for about that much. But congrats. Losi Excelerion brushless setup for it would be what you need to do.

Alpine nailed it. All it really needs is the brushless and lipo. I have the 2s as well and scoots pretty well. I run it in the house with my boy and his micro ramminator. I'm planning to build a 1:36 scale track in my backyard this summer.

that brushless set up looks pretty good...but i just spent all my money on the truck lmao...oh and did i foget to say that it was $70 SHIPED..TO CANADA

I'd say you got a nice little deal there. However, Beason has had a nice Micro-T for sale for quite some time now. Kinda too late... just saying. At any rate, they are fun little trucks. I like the longer WB of the DT anyways.

hey guys i just got home from school and seen a box sitting on the kitchen table with my name on it and what do i find but my micro-dt....haven't run it yet as i just got home and i have to charge the battery but it is in great condition and it looks good....

i'll definetly be getting some threaded axles for it cause i know that those e-clips will piss me off lmao...i'm going to have to pick up a couple of screws to because there are a couple missing to hols the esc on..i think the is only one or two on there lol....

this truck is a heck of a lot smaller then i thought lol.....

anyway here are some pics:

Edit..: i don't know why the first picture is so blurry...sorry about that lol..it was takin from the same camera as the others..i realy need to figure that camera out lol..just got it a week ago

my micro-t is for sale?? who knew?

good score man, mine is all stock, but its a fun rig. i put bearings in the wheels, flipped the wheels for a wider stance, and put some carbon lube on the spur. also i have heard of a lot of peoples trans case being to tight, and causing binding. the spring sets for those radio shack x-mod trucks (the trucks only not the cars) will fit right on the shocks of the micro-t. for a few bux you get various spring rates in a set.

i didn't know that you had one for sale beason..if i did i would hae considered yours before i bought this one...to me the trans feels a lil tight..how do you loosen it up a bit??...or is it supposed to be a lil tight??...i'd flip the tires to but i know thos lil e-clips will piss me off so left it for now...it's going to need turnbuckles to..the stock ones are a lil bent and they just feel weak lol

oh and that is the stock body but the kid thaat had it before i bought it masked the windows off and spray painted the outside i think

i just put some batteries in the controller and turned it on and found out the battery was charged..BONUS!!...it runs great and geets some good air off of my math book lol....accidentilly drove it down the stairs with my dog chasing it lol..nothing broke though..thats a good thing...

the only thing i noticed is that when i'm running the motor(nothing else..just the motor) gets really hot to the point i burnt myself and when it gets hot it shuts down..is it supposed to do this??..and do they normaly get this hot??..i didn't burn bad just enough to make me go S.O.B...lol

Edit: i just went to plug the battery back into the truck and the ground wire broke off the esc..would this be the problem??...and how do i soulder it back on??

mine isnt for sale...

i loosened up the screws in mine then just snugged them. also check your gear mesh on the spur. the wheels flipped help ALOT.

the turnbuckles are supposed to be weak, they bend instead of snap.

just break out the soldering iron and stick it back on there.. yo umay have to open it up though.

ya thats what i thought about the soldering iron....but the problem is that the only thing i have is a lil butane solderer/lighter thing and there is no way i'm sticking that in there lol....and i don't want to tell my grampa because he'd kill me for breaking it already lol...

also i have about enough for the losi brushless xcelerin set up..so if i screw up this one trying to solder it i guess i could pick that up eh???
