What kind of diffs do the rustlers run? Ball diff or gear diff? If they are a gear diff, are they spider gears inside a cup? If so, maybe you could clean out the grease and put in some 50K wieght diff oil to give you more of a "posi" diff.

To tell you truth I have no Idea I have never had the diff open before on either of them but thats a good idea never knew you could do that thanks!!

It probably won't stay in the diff forever since it more than likely isn't sealed...

badhorsie makes some diff locker grease that I never tried. It's supposed to be super sticky and will work better in non-sealed diffs like the t-maxx.

I never tried it when I had a maxx, but it may be worth a shot if you have gear diffs in the rustlers.

I believe the rustler have a planetary diff style. You can upgrade to the ball diff for $50 but its not really worth it in my opinion unless you race.

new era models do a cage made from titanium, won't add much weight to the truck but they have a photo of a pt cruiser parked on top of it, don't need much stronger than that i reckon

Yes it would cost some big money, and titanium does bend. I think their roll bar would be a better choice.
