Heya guys,

I am really thinking of purchasing the JR XS3 for my car and trucks. I know I will need extra receivers for this purpose. The idea of no X-tals is really appealing to me right now. I am asking for anyone's relevant experience with this radio. I know JR makes a quality radio just want to make sure this is the right purchase. I have all futaba equipment right now. Will probably sell all that when I get this thing. Any help would be appreciated. Later

I am using the XS3 now, it has been a great radio for me. No crystals, 6 model memory, it's a great radio imo. Its nice just to add a receiver to any new rc and dial in a freq and go.

I agree 100% with him. LCD screen, lap timer, 3 channel.. Mine came with my Storm RTR and i use it for my RS4 too. I love it, well worth it

Thanks guys I have been looking around and it seems I can get it for $219.00 from www.rcboyz.com I have done business with them before and have been very happy with their service. I will look locally as well since that is a big purchase I will see what my LHS will pick it up for. I think if they will match the price for RCBoyz I'll go with them. Besides they have the XTM motor I want too. Late

I think you'll be happy. I've heard nothing but good about it. I bought one. I've read and reread the manual. I've put batteries in it and tinkered with the settings. I've got a boner already. We can still say that, right?
