I am ordering a Fantom .27 tommorrow and need input on what pipe to get along with it, I was gonna get the Fantom pipe but have heard good things about the jammin pipes and wanted to know if the JP-2 and Fantom .27 would be a good combo.

JP-2 is a good mid to high speed pipe, the JP-1 is a good low end pipe. Both would work fine on your fantom, depends what type of power band you are looking for. they sure are nice pipes.

I've always read match the type of pipe to your engines power band (high end engine/high end pipe low end engine/low end pipe) and gear accordingly. the idea is to let the engine make the most power it can make in its internaly desighned powerband, and gear up or down to take advantage of the power. putting a high end pipe on a low end engine will make it have a little more power up top, but its peak overall power will be lowerd due to the pipe not allowing it to work how its suposed to. in no way am i claiming this is the way but i read this somewere and it seemed to make alot of sense to me.

I went with the JP-2 pipe since I am looking for top speed with this setup.
