Amazing what a weight difference those links make! Truck has some heft to it now.

I went with the stainless set of links because the stock ones would probably do ok for a while at stock weight but with adding unsprung weight I didn't want to risk it. The front got the Injora brass portal housings, the Meus brass diff covers, and the Injora brass servo mount. I actually was only going to do the front diff covers originally and only buy one set but I liked the look.

Trying to keep these pretty light overall. Although I do see doing a diecast body 1/18 at some point.

EDIT. 23 grams total for all the links. The stock set weighs 9 grams and the Injora Stainless set weighs 32g.

Injora steering and suspension links installed on the Scout as well as the Injora front portal housings and the Meus diff covers. Diff cover and rear stainless links are about 20 grams heavier than the originals.

Hoping for a little break in the weather tomorrow so we can get these outside.

Decided on a driver.

First parts printed, then cut up to fit, then measured so I can make them work in CAD. Then print them again. Need to figure out seating position first so I can figure out how much space I have for a console and dash. The seats need to be a little larger as I had to squeeze him into it haha.

Looks good! :thumbs-up: I've been looking at some of the 1/24 Axial roof racks and wondering if they will fit the scout.

I downloaded this one from Thingiverse a while back and printed it for my wife's Gen8 Scout and it fit really well. I also used the lightbar portion as a mount for my 1/10 Mighty FC.

This is reduced 50% on all axis and it fit perfectly. I had been looking at metal ones but didn't want that much weight up high. I probably won't load it up with much or I'll print items in the lightweight filament.

My first version of my interior with seats, console, and floor is on the printer right now. If it fits properly I'll be measuring for the dash and steering column in a bit.

Little further along. Super basic cover for the rear area as well. Mockup pretty well complete. Need to trim a little more on the driver side but I removed the tint from the driver and passenger front windows but left it on the wing windows.

Not sure if I want to send her out on the trails but she looks ready to roll.
