MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Sounds like water got into your servo or your receiver.
Let it dry out.
Take the servo and receiver out of the car, open the back of the servo a hair and hit it with a hair dryer.
Open the receiver case and do the same.
If that doesn't fix it, switch the wires from the steering to the throttle in the receiver and test the servo. if it still hangs up, you'll know it's the servo.
Good luck.

Other possible causes are a weak battery in either the TX or RX. You may also want to look and make sure your antennas on both are fully extended.

Ratzo most likely hit it on the head.
