Jato stalls when braking

I've decided to check out my carb after numerous stalls and this is what I found. At neutral the throttle is open a little allowing air in. At brake it closes all the way, choking the engine and forcing it to shut off. Has anyone else had this problem? How can I prevent it? Pictures:

You need to pull your brake while adjusting the gap screw and gap to 1mm. That way when you brake the carb only closes to gap setting and not all the way.

Now I get it. I was confused because if I increased the gap space, it also increases the idle speed. I wasn't even thinking about the idle screw. Lol. Thanks
