I need heavier springs for my jato, i bought a 9lb spring but it does work very well. any suggestions? THis is what i got, but it will not support the weight of the front end. It will not push the front end back up after you push it down. I just rebuilt the shocks with 60 weight oil. What am i getting wrong? What do you recommend?

Good possibilty a hinge pin is bent.
Remove the shocks and make sure the arms move freely.

60 sounds a bit heavy. I think I'm running 40 in mine on all shocks, but I'm running jato red on the front with revo white on the rear for springs.

I'd disconnect your shocks and see if the arms move up and down freely. However, 60 weight oil is pretty thick for a 1/10 ST.

With a stiffer spring the 60 may be fine, but i don't own a Jato...Olds is the man!

For my shock set up i actually use 50 wt oil with the two hole piston. As for springs i actually use Team LOSI light blue springs i think the part number is 5156. I have those on one shock on everywheel and then i have White BUGGY springs on one of every wheel. This set up has been great. Awesome for jumping and not much sway at all around corners yet still responsive. 60wt is a little too much.

Uh... how many shocks do you have on your jato? 8? How'd you do that?

8? no just the stock 4. but i think your right 60 may be a bit much, i'll get 40. Also how do you dispose of your old oil? I'm assuming down the drain is frowned upon.
