I'm using Integy hexes. I like them for the most part. But I have noticed that with the small tips (.05" and 1.5mm) if you try to torque, they'll twist the tip. I didn't like that fact very much.

I snapped the smallest one and bought a replacement tip...FIRST TRY snapped it again....I keep 2 spare tips for that one size now.....outside of that I like em just fine...If I see another deal on a set of HUDY pro tools I'm getting them...but it's just not necessary for me right now...

Looks like ill be going with this set here.
http://www.hudy.net/eshop/products/...8f53295a73878494e9bc8dd6c3c7104f&kategoria=65

I found a great price on it at an online store and have asked to see if Rush can match it and still make a buck or two. If he can Ill post the price. If not Ill post the link to where I found the deal.

Looking at other high quality sets both SAE and Metric and adding the fact that they come with an additional set of tips they will actually cost less in the long run then the others.

Ill post my price and info as soon as the deed is done.

I borrowed a set of Integy's and snapped the 1.5 tip, it gave me no warning and I didn't think I had that much pressure on it.....I still like them and think I might buy a set though..the Hudy set is beutiful but over the $100 mark for a set of hex's is WAY out of my league! for shizzle--man I am still tryin to save for my C5BB..

Rush could not get them for me. :(
I found them at Stormer for 89.99 plus 7.00 shipping.

Well that is definatly a better price but still out of my league, what is the big differance between these and say maybe the Integy besides like $40 or $50 ? Do these have any guarentee? I just can't justify that much money..

That's exactly the same set I bought almost 3 years ago. Haven't snapped a tip yet (knock on wood). Wish it was the same for my Profit tools. Snapped the .050 tip same day I got the set.

Also easier to spot what size the tool is with the lines on the end of the handle. With the Profit tools, there's silver numbers on the black plastic handle. Easier to spot the metrics than the standards.

The way I see it your going to pay 40+ for any of the Brand name sets and get 3 maybe 4 per standard. Thats 80+ right there. Once you include the additional tips I'm ahead of the game.

I'm going to re-tip my Dynamite and Losi sets and keep them in my box as backups. Now I'm off to find a set of nut drivers. I dont use them enough to justify 200.00 for both sets. Curse me but I'm looking at the Duratrax or Wiha sets.....

I like the dynamite tools myself. They are cheap and relatively solid. I haven't broken one yet but my 2mm did strip out on me last month. I've been using these almost on a daily basis for over a year now and thats the only one that gave up on me so far. It was only 3 bucks for a new one so I'm not complaining.

Heres a link http://www.dynamiterc.com/Search/Default.aspx?SearchTerm=tools&Page=1

I use the Dynamite nut drivers too....good for the cost...they can strip but for 3 bucks to replace it OH WELL....

This is the set I've been using for 3 years now.

My ONLY complaints is that A) its not a driver, and B) I wish the shafts were longer. I have never stripped out a screw. I have never bent a shaft. I have put enough torque on these to see them twisted almost 90 degrees trying to get a rusted locktite-ed screw out and they sprung right back into shape. Cheap too!!!

I also have the Dynamite set and for the $15 price tag they have been great, I did however snap one recently and the tips are pretty worn down so I am in the market for a new set and I think Iam going to go with the Integy's.
