Today it rained untill about 3pm.. as soon as it stoppped i was keen to try and resolve my tuning And Idle issue.. it was going great and in a very short time too (about 15min) almost had it perfect untill my last high speed run when all of a sudden a stupid pole jumped out in front of me..

List of damage:

Bent front left Rim(dont think i can bend it back)
Torn front left tire(from the rim digging in)
snapped turnbuckle
snapped front left upper RPM arm(1week old)
stripped spur gear
smashed servo cover and lid
broken shift servo
broken throttle servo
bend linkages to the brakes and throttle
also now my steering servos buzz and steering seems to be out

And i was so proud of myself thinking "wow i might actually be catching on to this tuning thing"

Man that sucks. Sounds about how my first week or so went but with out breaking too much, spur gear and shock end link, broke a glow plug off in the head and fixing all the stuff that was slack from the factory. But I kinda enjoyed getting to take it all apart and work on it. And at least parts dont cost to much for them. G/l getting it back up and running quickly and watch out of those sneaky poles ;)

Thats how it goes sometimes. I was soo excited when i first got my ste running that i didn't take the time to look over the terrain. Come to find out erosion had turned what used to be a decent jump into a cement ledge. After only running a few minutes i slammed it to a standstill running around 75% throttle.

ahhh, but if you borrow 20$ from someone, and never see them again, it's even better
I've managed to avoid those poles, but over here the trees move around when ur not lookin
I just wrapped my x terminator around one this weekend, only broke a shock tower and drowned the motor in 2 foot of water,
Not a bad outcome for flat stick
Picture of sorry truck on profile pics, tryin to fly

well, look at it this way.. now you can tune it. but you still gotta learn how to drive it!

oh and we need carnage pics.

I've even read in the newspaper a while back where the local police clocked a big ole oak tree at 78 mph in a school zone.....

Really, A school zone..?
When will the damn oak tress learn..?
isnt anyone thinking of the kids..?

Don't forget about the bent chassis. If you were going fast enough to break rpm stuff then your engine might not sit right on the chassis now.

Oh Crap..!!

How can i tell.. i quicky went over and had a look and compared to my other two chassis and it seems ok.. but I'm just going by look... its not like i can hold the 3 up to each other close enough..

i REALLY DONT wanna change chassis.. almost wld wanna buy a new car and keep this one as a spare.. what a hassle to take EVERYthing off and then back on again a new chassis.. i dont think i wld be confident enough to get it 100% right

You'll know when you go to put the engine back on. It's probably ok anyhow, that usually happens on upside-down backwords landings. If it is bent don't worry, it's easy to bend back.

You won't believe how fast sewer caps on a house construction site jump out at you either lol. Yes, I had permission to run it there.
