I just completed my slayer conversion.
It took a lot of work and about $90
Tell me what you think.

Nice "Revo" bro. ;) lol. It looks great! But yes, don't forget the front bumper!

Looks good, but you need to talk to your electrician ;-) He forgot to hide some wires in there.

arms all the way around $20
springs- rocker arms $10
push rods $10
turnbuckles $10
tires/rims $25
drive shafts $10
Then abracadabra you have a REVO with a shortened chassis.
The shortened chassis can turn on a DIME!!!

what needed to be changed to do the converson?

i thought about doing it with mine. You could probably come out cheaper buying a parts lot on ebay. there really isn't that much to change over. I figure about an hour or two of work and it would be done.

looks good, you just need some talons

Like the idea of the transformation of the slayer to a Revo, nice truck man!! Love the wing...where did you get it?:hehe:

Looks like the Teckno Wing kit with a Pro-Line wing. Best wing setup from what I've read. I tossed one on my Revo and love it. Doubles as a nice grab handle. lol

the only bad thing about short chassis revo's is the fact that they aren't very stable in the air. they flip in the air so easily. the extended chassis makes it much more stable.
