It is possible to put some kind of roto start on the Sirio .18?

Whaddup guys,

I'm so happy with the Sirio .18 in my Nitro 4-tec (well I was, it's sold but that was a mean mofo) and the Sirio Piston, Sleeve and rod in my Trx 2.5 that I've decided to get another Sirio .18 and hopefully get it moded by EBMods:OMG: If EBMods can do what others claim then that should I should have a monster of a non big-bore T-maxx.

Anyway my questions are, Does Siro only make the .18 in a freaking pullstart and if so can I modify it some how to some kind of rotarty start?? I'm sick of busting my knuckles on pullstarts (yes I know they should turn over easily with good compression but I still break pull starts as I'm a big guy with big hands). I've never broken my Traxxas EZ start (lol) compared to pull starts.

i think towerhobbies.com might have the sirio for cheaper , I'm not possitive, but check it out. and i can't see why a rotostart or ez start type of rig wouldnt work , being that the sirio case and body is a lot like the 2.5

Tower has it for $190 and the pipe for $42.

I shopped around before I bought my set.

I want the best of the two Sirios but It has to be "drop-in" and use the EzStart as I'm tired of pullstarts.

The one without the pullstarter is the one you want. It is a direct replacement to the 2.5 and accepts the EZ Start. It has the slide carb just like the 2.5.

I figured it was the one without the pullstart but was confused about the fact that the "original motor (older) was more expensive. So I'm assuming that the 7 port "Original .18 is faster" then the T-maxx drop in .18 that I currently have eeerr had on my Nitro 4-tec??

i think the main difference between the "older" and "drop in" sirio .18's is jsut the cranshaft? older--threaded, drop in--traxxas sg style?
