is this the correct clutch nut?

hi guys.

was just checking the manual again and noticed the clutch nut from the manual doesn't compare to what i got from the package of the savage.
you can see the pic. they dont look alike.
is the nut i got the correct one?
and if so. is it screwed on the correct way. or does it need to be turned around.

What you have will work as long as it is screwed on securely. It's hard to tell from the pic, but the only thing you need to do to make sure is to check the length. Compare the old one to the new one to see if the length is the same. I would also check where the groove for the clutch springs is at. If everything matches up, then you shouldn't have any problems.

Yes, it is screwed on the right way. BTW, I see a brass collet laying to the side in the pic. You didn't forget to put the brass collet on did you?
