is the tower Nitro st-15 a good nitro r/c truck

I dont think i would buy a truck like that. If you break something the only place that you can get parts from is them. There are probly few if any hop ups for it. You should look at either the associated gt, or the losi xxxnt. Both of these trucks are top of the line. Almost every hobby shop or online store supports one or the other or both. go to www.teamassociated.com or www.teamlosi.com You would be much better off with one of these known trucks. Take a look at some of the threads on here about these two trucks. There are several of them on here talking abot them.

I would NOT BUY that truck. For your first entry into nitro RC, the best bet is to get a product that is popular, with lots of aftermarket support. one that has been thoroughly tested in the market with plenty of good press, and one that has plenty of support at your local hobby shop. The tower product u are looking at is the equivilent of a generic store model. it is poorly built, has an untested engine, and no aftermarket support.

Below is a list of great alternative RTR trucks that are within the same ballpark price range. I have listed them with prices and in order of quality, reliability, and ease of use.

Do you want a stadium truck, or a monster truck?

There are lots of good stadium trucks to choose from I would just browse around then find one you like, and post hear to see if it is any good.I have a Traxxas Stampede, and it is in good shape.It handles hills good.It handels rolls and crashes good.It is great at jumping, and you can make it easily pop wheelies.

:whack: umm....i just got that truck in and installed the 2 speed transmission i raced a 2 speed 1999 t-max with quite a few hop ups and beat his A$$. the t-max has a topspeed off 40mph i had a cop test mine with his radar gun mine gose 54.2mph

I'm also calling bs on the fact that u ordered it at 430pm yesterday, and received it at 730pm the same day with the 2 speed installed .

Umm...........I already had orderd that truck a week ago who do think u are mr.Nitroaddict I'm calling bs my A$$ and so what my friend is like a r/c expert he installed the 2 speed tranmission and the tuned pipe and the .21 engine and tuned and broke my engine in. he has a Yokomo GT-4 GT2 and the new t-max with a 2.5 engine

That truck is a WASTE OF GOOD MONEY. Definitely a headache for a newcomer. Guarateed to make a horrible first impression. If that was my first truck I would have dropped the hobby. Cheaply made, low quality everything. I bought one for my GF to see if she liked RC and I ended up throwing it out and buying her an E-Maxx (she loves RC now by the way. Drives that Maxx like she stole it.).

what .21 might that be bro? and where did u get the conversion package?

Did you catch a 9 foot trout with cheese and a paper clip too? Get a grip on reality already. If you bought the truck, then I'm sorry you wasted your money. Theres no need to make up impossible speed stories. Just makes you look silly. You made a mistake. Get over it and move on.

That is also the most BS I've ever heard. Man what are you some little kid with a big brother driving your truck? I have a Savage and a Rs4 and a Rustler. Does that make me a R/C expert. People can be rich and buy whatever kit they want-are they experts then? NO! So keep your BS ass speeds to yourself. You also might wanna tell your mom to stay away from that cop.
Your BS on that .21 conversion is also retarded. IT would take about a week of custom work to fit in a O.S. .21 in it.

Is it the O.S. VO1B?
or the O.S. RZ?
Those are the only two .21's O.S. Makes RIGHT Mr.GOPED
