is the revo worthy of being called a "basher"

i just got my new revo two days ago and OMG i love it! it is insanely fast. incredible suspension and so on. but i would like to know; is the revo worthy of being a basher? i know it's worthy of being a racer (got first place in my first ever race). what do u guys think?

In my mind, it is worthy of being called a basher.

I have beat mine up pretty good without any problems. I have also witnessed Humboldtblazer really beat the snot of of his with the only damage being a beat-up body.

Agree with robmob, with minor upgrade you can bash the h*ll out of it.

I can only attest to the revo's I have seen locally. I watched someone break in their Revo the same day and then bash the crap out of it. I was impressed. ALl that was done was a change in wheels and tires.

i have a friend at my LHS that i hang out and bash with, and he only drives traxxas cars. he has a nitro 4-tec, a t-maxx, a nitro rustler, an electric rustler, and 2 revo's. he is lucky... he uses one revo specifically for racing on a maintained track and that thing is insane, he has got a good amount of money into that one. and his other revo is his bashing revo. he keeps it plain stock. nothing special. but he beats the crap out of it. he backflips it over cars and jumps it onto the house roof sometimes. considering how hard he bashes it it is very tough. he breaks a part every once in a while but that is only if he goes off the ramp and just misses the roof of the house and runs into the house wall at full speed in the air. poor wall.

The revo in my opinion is definately a worthy basher I've had mine since december aind I've bashed in the snow the rain freezing cold and lately on fair days my i thout it would be funny to watch my girlfrien learn how to drive her first r/c she went WOT into my parked truck did four back flips on concrete still at WOT all that hapend was a slit in the silicone exhaust collar!

I think its worth being a basher. A friend of mine got one on saterday. Complete dumbass when driving rcs. Rolled it dozens hit a brick wall doing 30. His first ever rc jump nailed a back flip. However he doesn't let off the gass when he jumps. So he goes wot the hole way through. He broke the front half shaft. I think its tough of nails...

The majority of Revo owners will be bashers. The few people I know that have one, use it strictly for bashing. It's a great performer on and off the dirt track.

IMHO, Traxxas just made it better suited for those that want to race the truck.

I got mine back in late July and can say I've abused it pretty well. So yeah, IMO, it's a good basher. I've also changed some things to make it a better racer. Other than the poop shock ends (replace with the aluminum one's from RD Racing), I've only broken the right upper/lower A arms, hub carrier, and drive shaft, but that would happen to anything when you hit it WOT into a fire extinguisher cart. I did drive it back though with only the 3 wheels.
