Hey guys,

I have a revo and now it is perfectly break-in and adjusted... The only thing I want to know just to be on the safe side! Is it normal that the first time I start the revo it kills when I remove the glow heater. But after the engine is hot it runs great and idle perfectly!

if the motor is to cold it will not run.. a nitro engine is like a desiel engine it doesn't use a spark for ignition.. it uses compression and heat.. so yes that could happen.. I'm not syaing its normal but it would be best to let the motor warm up befor removing the ignighter..

The plug is new so it's not a problem I'm sure it's normal! If I give it some gas to warm it up then release the glow plug igniter and runs with it, it work and it will never kill again... I'm sure that's a normal procedure and is not a problem!

Thanks

i dont think that sounds like a bad thing, most of my nitro engines are kind of sputtery or die with out the ignitor after the first few seconds of start-up. after about 10 seconds of blipping the throttle everything is good to go.

Bump your idle a little or throttle trim. If you bump the trim up for idle with the radio you can always bring it back down after running.

Honestly , if you set your idle right and the temps outside are fairly warm it should stay on. Try blippin the throttle to clear any unspent fuel in your crank case.

It's probably just unburned fuel still stuck in the throat from overpriming (slightly) when you first start it. Try leaning the LSN a hair as well as blipping it to clear it's throat.

No problem! I just give it a little more throthle trim to start then when it starts I just play with the gas to clear all unburned fuel and then I remove the glow igniter. No problem since I do this. I just put the throttle trim a bit back when it's warm so the idle is perfect.

Thanks
