AT&T just spent the time of 2 installers and half their entire national staff to get me connected to U-Verse fiber optic internet.
Started at 1 PM and the last installer just left. 6 HOUR ORDEAL!!!!
The irony is that I've been paying $105 a month for unlimited home phone and DSL internet and now I pay $85 a month with double the internet speed.

I have the same service, it took 1 guy 3 hours (needed new ground rod installed for the outside brain), and the other guy 5 hours (I have 4 HD boxes) to get me all hooked up and squared away.
Quite a bit cheaper than what I was paying before between direct TV and the phone company (bundles are the way to go if possible).
I’ve had it installed for over a year now without any hiccups.
