I am having problems with my Internet explorer. A few weeks ago my comp completely crashed, so I've been working the bugs out still. Anyway, Ill be surfing for a while and all of a sudden it will say it has been disconnected and needs to close. (And to save any progress made). One question is though, who do I call about this? I also recently went from dial up with Msn to Dsl with Clearwire. So would I call Clearwire? Or dell? I know this is kinda a retarded question, but I'm kinda a computer moron, so please cut me some slack. If anyone can point me in the right direction, Id really appriciate it. Thanks!

after, it should say "report this to microsoft" click that and it should tell you the problem. Another thing you can do is go to www.microsoft.com and click downloads and then go to download internet explore 6. It could also be that you're running an old version of IE.

This happen to our pc about 2 months ago, my wife fixed it by doing a system restore. I have no clue what the heck that is but give it a try. If that doesn't work she suggest calling Dell. Hope you get it fixed.

i stoppped useing enternet explorer because of all the problem's.. i now use FIRE FOX. you can get it at www.firefox.com i havent had one problem with this surfer ... *knock *knock *knock...... But if your able to get it i would... and use it instead of hte enternet explorer crap. just my .02

If you're getting a disconnect error, I would be inclined to believe that's a problem with your ISP, not your browser. If there were trouble with the browser, you'd get a prompt asking you to report it to Microsoft like SpitFire said. Call Clearwire first and see if they can help you.
And then switch to FireFox.....
