I'm cleaning my engine, and I'm wondering which engine cleaner would be the best.
I'm cleaning all the internal parts, so it has to be safe on plastic and rubber seals as well.

any awnser would be appreciated

I take all my seals off and soak all engine components in nitro or alcohol and before reassembly spray them all down with wd40.

I just found that 3 IN ONE Oil works good as well. Has anybody tried it?

For actually cleaning it I use CowRCs Moo-tor cleaner and then once I'm done cleaning it I use ARO to re-oil everything before putting it back together. Make sure you seal it when you reassemble it if you dont already do that anyway. :)

I use Dynamite Magnum Force 2 Motor Spray to clean oil and grease off of pretty much everything on my RC during cleaning. I also use it to clean out old grease out of bearings. Does a great job and is only about $6 per can. I buy the stuff by the box. LOL

Works really to also clean threaded holes in aluminum and oil off screws so that loctite can actually do it's job. If there is any oil or grease in the hole or on the screw then applying loctite is useless.

Thanks for all the awnsers, but I'm going to give the Dynamite Magnum Force 2 a try. And for putting it together is 3 IN ONE Oil good, it seems like it could do the job

thanks

I have used 3 in 1 oil for assembly and had no problems from it at all. Its actually what i use to re oil my filters.

Thanks^
So you use 3 IN ONE for ur filter? I probably will use Duratrax filter oil, is that good?

Any type of filter oil is fine. All your doing it for is to help catch the finer particles by them sticking to the oil in the filter. Just dont over oil it.

I use the Duratrax filter oil too its perfectly fine. I have used 3in1 oil to lube my engine before while putting it back together but I prefer to use ARO for it.
