interchange able parts

hello i am new to the whole different kind of engines and i have an os engine that will fit on my tmaxx but the piston is ceased so i am wondering if i can take crank shaft out of it and put it in a different os engine i have that isnt ceased. if someone could help me out that would be awesome. or maybe there is a way to uncease the engine so i can just use that one. PLEASE HELP.

Unless the other engine you have is the same size OS and model I doubt it will work.

you could spend a ton of money and still not have a good out come.

Feebay a piston/sleeve combo. I think OS engines are a great investment for any rig and you can typically find rebuild kits for around $70ish
