Who here has installed some type of lights on their RC? I got this idea after duct taping an LED flashlight on my body yesterday for the purpose of running at night.

Not some ebay LED's "all for show" (although I'm sure there are bright LEDs out there that would work for my purpose)

I'm thinking of some bright lights up front and maybe a single red or yellow LED in rear (Baja style)

any ideas / photos??????

theres TONS of places/componies that make led kits for rc's. I've done it on a few rigs, I'm sure theres alot of people here who have. Rc4wd makes some for scalers. a vendor on rcshortcoursetalk.com, the only short course forum worth checking out, is working on some i think.

I'm just finishing up mine now so i should have pics by tomorrow

The "show" lights seem to work well on my scaler... just dual "HID" looking leds in the front.

looks like a real truck, hyperlite!! what LEDs are those?

IDK, got em off of a slash body that i had gotten from RBRevo on here.... stil have to make backings for them so there is not any light under the cab or bed, but i glued em into the stock housings on the F350 body, and they came out perfectly. Accents the PERFECT paint job as well.
