I have a rc10gt and i have some questions:

1. What is the right temp. in F. that it should be running at?

2. I can start it up and it runs perfect then when i let it go, it gets 5 feet away and stalls out. it starts right back up on the first pull and does the same thing. I just replaced the batteries in the car and control 2 weeks ago. whats the problem?

3. Just yesterday i turned the control and the car on and the steering and throttle were moving by themselves. it can't be the batteries can it? if i turned the steering wheel, it would halfway work. the throttle and steering were like fidgeting back and forth.

4. I can't get the mixtures right. I know the high-speed should be between 2 and 2 1/2 turns out from all the way in. what sould the low speed mixture be?

Reply Please!!!

1.) A good starting point is 220F, but as long as you have some blue smoke trailing from the exhaust, you're good.

2.) Your low end might be a hair rich. Or your idle stop screw might be a hair out. Try raising the idle a hair, just so the truck barely wants to move. That should do it.

3.) Could be weak batteries, but I'd wager radio interference.

4.) Most engines, the low needles' factory setting is "flush".

1. Well today I started it and there was a lot of blue smoke coming out. it that good or bad? And i got the temperature to 235.

2. and last night, i got some rechargeable batteries and charged them overnight. i put them in the car in the morning and the fidgeting stopped. that was good. How do i tune the low end? like how many turns from all the way in? i have the high speed set good.

3. ya the battery problem is fixed. : )

Is there a certain type of glow plug i should be using? Because its getting colder out and it doesn't want to start as good as before.

What should i use for antenna tubes besides the plastic ones? mine keep bending and breaking...
