RC Driving Style
Well, had the driving jones so I took the savages to work to do a little lunch bash... when will I learn? 2 days ago it rained and they are re-doing the park so there are 15 foot high mounds and other great things as well as a couple of horozontal telephone poles (we will get back to those later, literaly) so I start running through the mud up the hills and all is great (ok, note mud) start jumping over the mounds no problems launching 20 feet through the air yeah! this thing is tough. well I hit this rock and knocked the roll cage off (sheared all 4 screws) oh well still running! go do a few more jumps having a blast a little more mud, a little more mud ... well time to go fuel up run over to the truck and past the poles, welll... mud and breaks ... poop look for your self. it was going so well...

as for the people who say the x-tvp's are fragile... bull they worked great, but against telephone posts at full speed... lol:whack:

I can see where running into a telephone pole with any type of truck would be a problem. I guess there really isn't anything that is indestructable out there. I do however think that the Savage is one of the toughest. I have a Savage 25 that I've rolled on grass, dirt, gravel, concrete, etc. hundreds of times and the worst thing that has happened is the cooling head has three little scratches. Havn't broken any major parts yet and I've hit jumps that shot me 10 feet in the air (I'm not extremely extreme since parts arn't that cheap) and landed wrong with no broken parts. I have run into a wooden and a metal fence before but nothing happened there. Hope you get your truck fixed.

already working on it lol tried to use the force to miss the post but... it will be fixed before monday but I can say, full throttle into a post with the back wheels, a lot less damage than my t-maxx would have suffered lol. and parts are cheap!! glory is forever!! just wish I had a movie of that one

Heh, yeah T-Maxx is gimp to Savage. Not sure on the Revo though. My uncle uses nothing but T-Maxxs, and he breaks about $40 in parts in a weekend. And the only reason he doesn't break more is because once he breaks one $40 dollar part he can't run the truck untill he fixes it the next weekend. :P

had a revo, it didn't break as much... but the savvy hadn't broken till I did somthing totaly stupid, mildly stupid the savage will eat up. totaly stupid... see above pics looks like new parts will total about .70, for new screws and a new skid plate support. wow that is expensive!!

i did the same thing but with a metal fence post. i was going like 25 and then hit it with the rear tires and i ripped the backend off. all i had to to was straten the chasis and get some more screws
