In Your Opinion Which One Will Be Quiker?

My brother is getting a HPR RS4 3 18SS and i want to be a little different and get the R40 with the HPI Nitro Star T15 Engine (http://www.hpi-europe.com/piw.php?lang=en&partNo=15101) ... With the stock gearing which one do you think would be quiker in take off and top speed?

I need to beat him, his electric car makes mine look like a slug ...

R40 the better car compared to the RS4,stock for stock. The 18SS has more power than the T15. Overall should be close as far as acceleration and top speed.

You want to be a clear winner,get a better engine.Someting like a Mega or OS.

Whats the biggest that will fit into the R40? The reason i picked the HPI was because i can get HPI relatively cheap ... Which Engine in particular would you recommend?

I ran this in my rs4 nitro mt (same chassis as yours) and that thing ripped. For the price, that's what I'd go with.

on a R40 your gonna need a non pull rear exhaust engine wiht a slide carb.

I am sure at that price the power must be up there,and it would leave the cheapie 18SS in the dust.
